How do I reconstitute a 5 mg TB-500 vial?

Add 2 mL of bacteriostatic water to a 5 mg TB-500 vial. That gives you 2.5 mg per mL. On a U-100 insulin syringe, 10 units equals 250 mcg, 20 units equals 500 mcg, and a full 100-unit syringe equals 2.5 mg. Most TB-500 protocols use 2.5 mg twice a week, so each shot is one full insulin syringe. Pour the water down the vial wall, swirl gently, and refrigerate.
